Up for auction is a one of a kind prehistoric Anasazi Tularosa Ram Effigy Circa 1000AD . This effigy has approx. 10% restoration work on head and all 4 feet replaced. The body is broken and glued and is 100% original. Recovered in the early 1900's on the Utah side of the Mesa Verde Region on a private ranch. Measures about 10" long by 9" high and 7" across.Purchased in 1997 from Sotheby's Auction House, then purchased for 2500.00 at R.G Munn Auction House in 2006 (Lot 928), and again&n...bsp; by myself in 2013. It has been in my collection ever since. It was furthermore used in a National Geographic Film "Prehistoric Sheep Hunters". I Lost out on the Sotheby's auction in 1997 but was able to purchase it 16 years later. One of my finest Anasazi items, exceptional museum piece. Fantastic ceremonial piece ritualistically killed in antiquity. Must part with it to pay college tuition for children. 2 COA's, an R.G.Munn auction sheet showing it was lot 928 and that it then sold for 2500.00, will be given to the highest bidder. Centerpiece to anyone's collection.
