This auction is for a vintage chrome / silver anodized finish Ernst Leitz Leica M4 Rangefinder 35 mm film camera from 1968 - 1969 with a chrome Leica Leitz Wetzlar 1:4 / 21 mm Super-Angulon f/4 lens (which is installed on the camera in most of the photos), a Leitz Wetzlar 21 mm viewfinder made in Germany. The camera comes from an estate of the original owner. Serial number is 1208605. I am going to describe the condition as best as I can, but keep in mind ...this is a vintage item. This camera has not been tested with film nor has it been serviced. It has some minor wear such as where the strap has rubbed against the chrome end over time but its minimal. It is not show room new 'mint' yet it is well preserved as a good looking camera. A section of the faux leather on the back cover came off yet was reapplied. The self timer feature does work (maybe slower than normal but that might just be me and that it is as it should be). The shutter works. Earlier on the shutter was not working for 500 or 100 but the tension for the curtain simply needed be adjusted so it will work for 500 & 1000. It might still be slightly off but that can be adjusted. It is being offered 'as is'. The Leica M series is known for its minimalist resilience in taking beautiful pictures in all types of environments such as low light and fast moving objects. This is a mid-century classic looking camera. The Leica M4 is true classic among amateur and professional photographers. I am not an expert though I do try to provide as much information as possible from evaluating and researching. I like this camera and I have been tempted to keep it.
Comes with following Accessories:
- Leica Super-Angulon f/4 21mm lens. # 1672668. The glass optic has no scratches and no haze and comes with a hood and the original silver anodized lens cap with 'Leica'

- Leica viewfinder is in excellent condition and comes with it's original box, though the box is not mint and the cover has tap repair work.
- Leica Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar Camera Lens Hektor f=13.5cm 1:4.5 # 1621658. There with no scratches on the lens and no hazing. The aperture works. The Leica cap does have a small ding on the edge. It comes with its original Leica plastic two part storage container.
(clear plastic container top has taped up cracks)
- The Leitz Leica Boowu-M with DIN A 4, DIN A 5, and DIN A 6 is complete and comes with the original box.- Leica CAMERA INCIDENT light auxiliary cell for LEICA LIGHT METER with leather case (leather is dry with broken strap and flap)- Leica black leather braided camera strap (there is some wear of the black finish on ends)
- Leica Leitz Double Cable Release- Leitz Wetzlar Germany Synchonblitzer CEYOO Fan Flash Reflector with cable (no bracket, not tested to see if it works or not)
