I am thinning out my very large collection of stringed instruments (numbering nearly 200), which I began in the 1970's. This item is a near mint 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top with P100 pickups.  A rare guitar, as only 300 were made.

Comes with original Gibson hardshell case.  The combination lock on the case has frozen locked (see pic).  Rather than force the lock open and damage it, I just removed the two screws holding the lock to the lid (they are inside the case) and had planned to take it to a locksmith to salvage the lock and keep everything original but never have done it.
