ANTIQUE Newcomb Loom Company - Rug Loom. Condition is Used.
My boyfriend and I purchased our home in November of 2018 and this loom was left in our basement. We are expecting a baby this fall and are looking to sell the loom to free up some space. I have reached out to multiple people in MN to get information about the loom. The loom seems to be in great condition, has all of the original parts (to the best of our knowledge), and even comes with the original manual.
T...he best information I got, via email, from a gentlemen in MN was that the loom is a two-shaft rug loom, produced by the Newcomb Loom Company. Our loom was designed as a heavy production rug loom, has a fly shuttle attachment to speed up the weaving process, and a spool rack attachment to support longer warps.
Although we are unsure of the value, due to not having a physical inspection done (because we can't find anyone to do it), we do have a small price range that we believe the loom to be worth based on what the gentlemen here told us. Our problem is that we understand the reality of the situation, and realize the specialized set of potential buyers would be very small. We really want to the loom to go to the right person.

Our one condition on the selling the loom would be that we will NOT take the loom apart and/or ship it ourselves, due to possible breakage/damage. The buyer MUST take apart and haul/ship as they prefer. We are located about an hour and a half north of Minneapolis, MN.
