1980 Rolex Submariner, 16800 "Transitional" Rare Matte Black Dial + T-<25 Mark. The Submariner reference 16800 boasts a distinct matte dial and printed Tritium indices, an incredible find. Unlike other 16800's that have been replaced with a glossy dial, the reference that is for sale here today maintains its original design and is highly sought-after by Rolex collectors in the know.I'm an active coin collector who use to buy and sell coins online.I moved to buying coins in person, a...nd the last gentleman I bought coins from offered to sell me his old rolex.After buying the rolex, I brought it to a Ben Bridge store to make sure it's authenticate and to find out what kind of service it needs. They informed me the watch is authentic, but the band is not. They also told me the cost of servicing and a new band will total around 2k.Brand: RolexModel: Submariner Model #: 16800 ( transitional )Band: Not Original!
