Rare Vintage FAIRCHILD 275 Monoblock Tube Amplifier / Amp ~ Untested ~ As Is.This will likely need some kind of repair. I found it in a warehouse, in a crate with other electronic items. The other items all looked like they needed repair, so, I am guessing that this crate was where the previous owner put things which needed repair. I never plugged it in, since I have read, and been told, that plugging in old tube based electronics could cause them harm ~ unless, of course, you know how... to do it properly, which I do not.I researched this item, and found out that it is very highly regarded amongst the audiophile community. And, also, rather rare. If I knew how to fix it myself, I would probably never sell it. I will be shipping the tubes, and the grate, in a separate box from the amplifier, for safety reasons. One more thing~ my daughter has leukemia, so she has asked me to donate a portion to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. It’s only 10% of the sale price, but it might help a little.
