First, thank you for looking at my auction.
I love old stuff! In my collecting, and acquiring I come across many items that I sell, and many people email me asking where I got it from.
All sales are as is, I take the best pictures I can and describe items to the best of my ability. If I miss something or you need more info, email me and I will do my best.
Again, thank you and happy bidding!
Please take a moment to look at my other auctions for more finds!
This ...item is from an estate of a man that was a computer programmer for a number of companies over the years. He'd retired many years ago, and these were his personal use computers he'd kept. They'd been stored in a climate controlled area and are in great condition. See my other auctions for more items!
This auction is for a vintage early 'Portable' computer. The Kaypro II by Non-Linear Systems circa 1982It comes with dual 5 1/4" floppy Drives and Keyboard.I set it up, and plugged it in, and you can see from the photos, it turns on fine, asking for DOS disk to be inserted. This unit has been kept with the floppy drive transport protectors inserted (see pictures)I let it run for about 10 minutes, and it seems to be fine, with no odors, odd noises, or dimming of the screen. The keyboard has it's cord, and all the keys seem functional, with a solid 'click' when touched and no broken or damaged keys.straps that hold keyboard onto body work fine and are complete. The metal 'legs' underneath are present and work. It looks like the pins in the leg joints may have been replaced? Currently they have thick copper pins in them.Comes with the original Kaypro nylon padded case as shown.Shipping is based on weight (it's over 30 pounds)I have no way of testing it beyond this, so will be sold as-is.See photos for details
Selling As-Is, No Reserve No Returns
If you have questions, please ask!
Pleasenote, my shipping is for the shipping costs, not just the actualshipping charge. Packaging, bubble wrap, boxes, padded envelopes...
Ido not charge 'handling fees' or anything like that, I just try tocover the cost of the materials I have to purchase to make sure itemsarrive at their new owners safely.
I always post my shipping up front, so a buyer knows what they are willing to pay for an item, they can factor in shipping.
The items I sell are generally old, used collectibles, and describe them to the best of my ability. If I miss something, please ask.
Generally I do not offer refunds on items unless there was a gross error in describing the item.
Shipping will be shipped USPS. I will combine and reduce shipping if multiple auctions are won.
Insurance will be available if the winning bidder wants it.
I will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping.
Due to Ebay & Paypal shipping & Tracking policies, I only ship using eBay's Global Shipping Program outside the USA.
Due to eBay policies Paypal accepted ONLY.
Payment expected within 7 days of end of auction.
