Matchlessantiques is offering smiths and collectors this Rare Vintage 11 lb. cast HARPER Cobbler, Craft, Blacksmith Anvil with Vise. This anvil hails from the UK and this one comes complete with 4 attachments for the hardy hole marked "A, B, C, D". I've seen and sold several of the Harper anvils, but it's the first one I've seen with a built in vise at the back of the anvil. For accuracy's sake, the screw has two threads that look like they've been altered somehow (see picture). It do...es not affect operation. It's a NO RESERVE auction so don't wait to bid. The Stand it's sitting on and other tools in the background ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction. Measurements are: total length 8 1/8", jaw width 3", horn 3 3/8", face 3" x 5 5/8", height 3 7/8", base 3" x 6", actual weight 11 lb., total weight including attachments 23 lb.
