Wonderful large Midcentury Lisa Larson - Sweden - pottery wall plaque featuring athletes. This piece was made in the late 1950s. The people shown are engaged in sports - A runner, a weightlifter, a person boating, a Swimmer and someone doing gymnastics? The plaque is signed on front with LL for Lisa Larson. I have found no other makers marks. Piece measures approximately 14 7/8 inches by 11-1/2 inches and is about 1-1/8 inches thick at the greatest points. Good vintage condition with s...ome crazing in the glaze. Please see all photographs. As you can tell by the photographs the lighting in the photographs makes a difference as how the piece appears. On the back brown edge part there are a couple small nicks at the edge - approx 3/8 inches (Please see photograph with tape measure).
