This is a great riding tandem! My wife and I hit 50 mph down hill on several occasions and it was rock steady. Half step + granny gearing is ideal for the tandem and shifts great. I suspect that it was originally sold as a racing tandem and is sized for tubulars, then 27" clinchers were added at some point. I had intended to convert to 700c at some point but never got around to it!
I will include a pair of black Campy SR pedals with red straps for the "buy it now" price. Local pickup encouraged! No fun packing a tandem!!Shipping will be a flat rate of $150 for the lower 48.
