Needs minor repair
Vintage Pioneer RT 909 Reel To Reel Player Recorder.
This player is in great physical condition with very minor blemishes. This unit was part of a large private Pioneer collection. I had all equipment inspected by a local vintage audio shop and everything worked as it should about six months ago. I have been using this unit at home and now the reverse function is getting very weak. It will rewind slowly for a ...while then stop depending on size of reel. All other functionality of the unit seems to work fine still. I am not a collector and have have very little knowledge about this equipment. I purchased the equipment because I could tel the owner had some really great pieces and had taken great care of his equipment. I have had fun listening to it while I have had it but it needs to go to someone who really appreciates this type of equipment and looking to add a great piece to their collection.
