1989 Klein Top Gun Lawsuit Vintage Mtb Fat City Deore Old School Mountain Bike

There is a small crack in the seatmast, picture 12 (last picture). The bike is rideable but I would recommend this go into a collection because the crack could get larger if ridden.

This model was the precursor to the Rascal and was made for one year 1989-1990 where it was the top of the line bike for Klein. It has the unique Klei...n race geometry and horizontal dropouts. Some people have repainted Rascals as Top Guns, but this is the real deal.
It appears to be built with all the original parts. Full Shimano XT w/ SLR brakes. It even has Klein grips with the Original Onja and Klein bar plugs.
The decals are scuffed up and the drive side "Top Gun" decal is nearly rubbed off. The bike has average riding wear. The bike has just been tuned up, bearings adjusted, wheels trued, etc. Two new shift cables were added and it is now fully functional.
I'm assuming the frame is either a medium or large I measured 16.5" center of the bb to middle of top tube and 19" center of bb to top of seat tube mast but the frame sizes in the catalog are either 18" 20" or 22".
