Rare vintage NFL program from the Chicago Bears vs New York Giants game at the Polo Grounds, New York, on November 3rd 1935.
40, 000 fans were on hand to watch the Bears upset the defending NFL Champions, 20-3. Second half touchdowns from HB Beattie Feathers, HB Keith Molesworth and E Bill Karr gave the Bears some revenge for their defeat by the Giants in the 1934 NFL Championship Game, aka "The Sneakers Game".
Featuring the Giants Ed Danowski on the front cover, the program... also comes with a 4.5" wide x 3" high slip of paper that is autographed in pencil by Danowski and two of the officials from the game, B.A. Savage (Field Judge) & Bill Halloran (Umpire).
Condition: VERY GOOD. Light to moderate handling wear and some minor discolouration due to age. A small pin hole at the top centre (just under the "10") penetrates through the program. The roster page has various notations in pencil.
