This is a very nice original Bosch ZE1 single cylinder magneto for an old motorcycle or other one-cylinder application. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear. It has good magnetism and has a hot, blue spark. It is clockwise rotation and mounts on a 2 inch square pattern and all of the mounting threads are in great shape. It has the original points cover on it and everything... inside looks to be in great shape. The advance/retard lever has very little wear in the hole so I doubt this magneto was used much. These ZE1 magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration here is a real nice one. The pictures tell the story.
