Excellent condition with some slight edge wear, examine photos for details. No marks on reverse of poster, colors are bright and strong, I've never displayed it. Not sure of how many of these were printed, Some sites say around 500, with some of them signed, although this example is not signed. Original 1st printing 17 3/4 x 22 1/2" concert poster for a... trio of December 1991 Texas appearances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers along with Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam at The Unicorn in Houston on 12/7/91, at the Austin City Coliseum on 12/8/91 (*actually 12/10) and at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas on 12/11/91. Pearl Jam first tour for TEN in 1991.
Art by Frank Kozik. Medium-thick oak tag stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster (printed with bright, colorful ink). Fantastic excellent condition; virtually as bright/crisp as the day it came off the press in 1991... absolutely beautiful vintage concert poster.
According to the artist, most of the posters were used for show advertising and/or given to the bands and management. The RHCP didn't want Kozik to make extra posters as they were not getting a cut from potential poster sales, so Kozik printed only enough to promote the concerts. GREAT-looking and VERY psychedelic early KOZIK concert poster featuring three of the biggest bands of the 1990's.
