Very rare chance to obtain an original torch as used to transport the flame for the 2006 15th Asian Games held in Qatar.
I would think it was probably used duri...ng the Torch Relay prior to the opening of the Games although I do not have any details of exactly where etc.
The Asian Games are the second largest multi Sport event after the Olympic Games and are recognized by the IOC or International Olympic Committee.
The Torch weighs around 1.5kg, it is in the Qatar flag colours and is shaped as an Oryx horn as the Oryx was also the Games mascot.
PLEASE NOTE Due to postal regulations I CANNOT include the partly used gas canister shown in the scan ( unless you collect in person in which case no problem ) due to the risk of mail or customs authorities destroying the item ( you cannot mail these cannisters due to security restrictions ).
The torch is in excellent condition and would make a magnificent addition to any Sporting or Asian Games / Olympic Games collection.
