Mike Brooks - Rare model Permacane Rolf 7'3" 4/5 2 piece 2 tip fly rod - Mike designed this rod for a friend and named it after him - to my knowledge only a few rods of this model were made. Permacane is Mike's designation to be an implegnated blank using Mike's priority formula - I was lucky enough to know Mike and when he told me about the rod I asked him if I could get get one - Mike made me a blank and set the ferrules in 2008 - a copy of Mike's email with the SPEC on the guid...e locations will be sent with the rod  - I did all the build out - Reel seat is a Bellingers blued nickel silver hardware  -  I have been building out rods since the 1990's  - I have built out rods for individuals and some bamboo rod makers throughout the US and Canada - I have taught over 200 wounded vets to build out their graphite blanks at the Shepard Center in Atlanta as part of Project Healing Waters - Currently I do all the rod repair for Atlanta's #1 fly shop "Fishhook".   I am just selling rods that I have that I collected over the years and never used - I saved the Mike Brooks for last -The guides are wrapped in maroon Persals silk with yellow trim wraps.  Rod has never been fished and stored in a rod tube- The Orvis CFO 123 is in very good condition, very slight rim wear from holding - 4wt rio floating fly line included - original Orvis reel case  -  Rod Tube and Sock included
