Approximately 5.5" tall, no damage. This is true Silicone Ware (made in the 1890's) and is marked as such. Many of the similar pieces selling for less here on ebay are not marked as Silicon ware and are made with inferior quality (Silicon ware was peculiar to Doulton, it is similar to stoneware, with a different body and fired at a higher temperature making the production more expensive. Silicon ware is very sturdy. ). Further evidence of dating is the makers numbering system. This p...iece has what is called a "C" number (see photo with mark "6687C". This number is evidence this piece was created between 1894-1895, you can see this on antique-marks.com/doulton-marks.html . Other pieces are created as late as the 1920's with less quality. There was much interest at that time in the ancient world and its pottery as excavations were being carried out around the Mediterranean. Hence the Greek Frieze style.A rare piece.
