Excellent Provenance from Noted Collector!
Authentic antique enamel on porcelain snuff bottle depicting 2 different katydid's very well painted on either side. Extremely fine decoration. This was produced by the imperial porcelain factory and generally given as gifts within the imperial court. The bottom of this bottle has a very strong Daoguang mark and is of the period. The antique gilt & coral stopper perfectly accents this gem of a bottle and is probably period if not original to the bottle.
