Two vintage Neumann /Schoeps M221 rebuild in ‘07 with brand new AC701 Tubes, @ E1, 200 a piece! By renown German sound engineer Charly Bohaimid in Munich, approximately 40 hours on each mic.Head with switch option from cardioid to omnidirectional.
Power supply EAG AT501/AThese were what they called Eastern Block exports, due to reimport issues they were not labeled/stamped on the housing also the power supply was shipped bare and these housings were made in Hungary were the majori...ty of these were shipped too.Can provide contact information for Mr. Bohaimid he can explain the exact details better than I do.Common problem with the power supply with aging they develop hum issues as the condensers dry up these have been rebuild with new parts.These are ideal for someone really using them for recording.The Mics come with original case and 4 sets of cables (different plugs) and power units.Ideal for string instruments, amazing sound correctly set up.For people familiar with these Mics, remember there were app. 500 units ship.As insiders know the components in these mics are more than my asking price, hence if you are seriously interested, I might part them out.But the components will be significantly more expensive, the price will be what current market value are on the heads, the core with he tubes and the power units, combined they are over 3K as you can seen on e-bay.Just on the side the price will not drop, the lowest offer I will take is the one I am asking right now.
