This isa large fine late 19th century oil on canvas depicting a shallowriver falls before a mountainous landscape in ‘Wester Ross, Scotland’by the very popular listed artist Daniel Sherrin (1868-1940). The painting is signed by the artist, and presented in a newly commissioned fine quality gold metal leaf frame.Wester Ross lies in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. Every painting is first wrapped inacid free paper and then the entire frame is enveloped in deep, dense foam Ucushioning. This is then covered in numerous layers of AirCap bubble wrap, which is the best and safest product of its type on the market. Sheets of high densityfine art packaging card are then secured to the front and rear of the paintingwith waterproof cloth tape before the painting is then fitted in place inside abespoke fine art shipping box. The entire package is then bound in black shrinkwrap (as used by airline companies) and a final later of waterproof cloth tapeis applied to all corners, ends and edges.
