The Structo Manufacturing Company of Freeport, Illinois, began making metal toy looms in 1921. By 1930, production had evolved to a standard metal 8-inch-wide four-shaft loom called the 240 because it had sixty heddles on each of its four shafts. The Structo 240 has been a staple in many weavers’ collections for decades.
This vintage, classic Structo Artcraft 240 8", 4 harness Loom is in good used condition. The warp is advanced with a hand crank - a welcome feature, as some S...tructo's have wing nuts to perform this function. The loom has a 15 dent reed.
