Full page illustrations by J. AugustusKnapp Gilt stamped leather title label on spine. Housed in the original paper andcloth covered wooden slip-case. This 'Fifth Edition' - limited to 800 numberedcopies, of which this is copy number 607. An impressive early edition of Hall'smassive work, best known by its shortened title 'The Secret Teachings of AllAges.' This edition includes fifty-four full-page color plates by J. AugustusKnapp, and approx. two hundred black and white illustrations taken from rareoccult works. It remains one of the most famous - and impressive - books in theWestern esoteric canon. A VG+ copy in VG+ slipcase. The vellum is only veryslightly darkened (as is common), and the leather title label has some wear butis 60% complete which is also quite unusual. The boards are lightly rubbed, andthere are a couple of small scrapes at edges. Overall a lovely VG+ copy inbetter condition than usually found. Slipcase lightly chafed around the edgeswith a few light bumps. A nice example of this important and handsome work.
