Ortofon AS-309S Tone Arm with extra type D weight. Here we have for sale a wonderful Ortofon AS-309S tone arm with an additional type D counter balance weight for use with heavy Ortofon SPU pick up cartridges. The tone arm is in excellent working and cosmetic condition. Everything works as it should. The only thing that I would point out are little marks on the inner column, which can be seen in one of the photos. The marks are from the height adjusting set screw. They can’t be seen ...when the tone arm is mounted on the turntable. Otherwise the tone arm is in mint condition. Please look at the pictures. The Thorens 124 turntable and the SPU cartridge is not part of the sale. It was sold few months ago. The tone arm was used very little, since it was not part of my main setup and I am now reducing my collection of audio equipment. The tone arm will be securely packed for shipping.
