Rare to find is this PAMPHONIC Stereo tube amplifier , made in England arround 1958.
This is the Pamphonic 3000 integrated amplifier. This is the one and only !
This is a historical amplifer .
The Pamphonic type 3000 amplifier was the first integra...ted amplifier which was made to "honour" the stereo LP produced in 1958.
It is in fact part of vintage audio history for the London based firm which was own by Pye since 1955.
In 1958 The Pamphonic 3000 was also used by Pye to demonstrate LP Playback.
Still in his factory original condition !!.
So this is great for collection, but when you want to used it , you need to replace the capacitors.
I did a short test on this amp . The high voltage is ok, and the amplifier works on both channels .
But as I say , the capacitors are bad (see picture) so for daily using , you need to replace them !
2x ECC83 , and 4x ECL82 tubes .
Works on 110 and 220 volts , and commes with a German DIN plug to connect your input.
