Adam Clarke’s Seven Volume 1811 Commentary And Notes On The Bible

Up for auction is an antique set of Adam Clarke’s “Commentary on the Bible.” This set dates to the FIRST 1811 New York publishing. The first book was published by Ezra Sargeant, and the remaining volumes were published by Abraham Paul/Daniel Hitt, as noted. All pieces of the set are leather-bound, without any modifications to covers or spines. All pages move freely, but are yellowed, as pictured. Graphs and fold-outs still both appear and function well; some covers are more loose... than others.
The volumes and dates are per pictured and as below:
Book 1 (Genesis-Deuteronomy) is from Volume I, dated 1811.Book 2 (Joshua-Esther) is without a date.Book 3 (Job-Songs) is from Volume III, dated 1825.Book 4 (Isaiah-Malachi) is from Volume II, dated 1821.Book 5 (Matthew-John) is from Volume I, dated 1818.Book 6 (Acts-Ephesians) is from Volume II, dated 1818.Book 7 (Philippians-Revelation) is without a date.
