Is it time to put the tired original Atari or Amiga mouse on the shelf? Whether you want to save your original mouse, or if it is worn out or lost, why not releave it with a modern mouse?
This varsion of my adapter has a USB connector instead of the PS/2 connector. It still need to be a mouse with PS/2 protocol in it, but since many newer made versions come with a USB plug on the cable, and then include a PS/2 adapter, I figued it would be easier to make one with the USB connector a...ttached, so I dont need that bulky USB to PS/2 attached. The adapter still require the mouse to utilize the PS/2 protocol, so a regular USB mouse might not work.
This is the latest version of my Amiga/Atari PS/2 Adapter. I have perfected this adapter in several different versions since 2005 from etched boards to todays professionally fabricated PCBs, and this is the latest version as of 2018. This is the first time I try to sell it internationally.
What it basically does, is to let you use any PC mouse with PS/2 protocol with any Amiga/Atari ST/TT/Falcon. Any mouse that use the PS/2 protocol can be used, making it possible to use a modern optical and laser mouse on our beloved Amiga/Atari ST/TT/Falcon.
Since Atari has a slightly different pinout than the Amiga, I decided to use so called "Jumpers" to select Atari or Amiga mode so there is no need to buy 2 seperate adapters, this adapter will fit both, all you have to do is change the jumper positions to select Atari or Amiga modes.
A few Atari revisions has a metal plate over the mouse and joystick ports. I would recommend the owner of those to eighter add some tape to cover the metal strip when using my adapter, or even put some shrink tubing around this adapter. Some tape on the adapter itself would also work great. this is to avoid any accidental shorts.

Dont be scared by the low price, this is a quality product made by a fellow retro enthusiast fighting to keep the prices low for my fellow retro fans. The PCB was designed by me, and produced at a professional PCB factory. This is for the adapter only. No mouse or computer is included.
