Description
This is a VTG COLEMAN CANADA 220E KEROSENE LANTERN CUSTOM RESTORED 10/68 RED VENT UNFIRED.This Coleman 220E lantern was completely restored. It was fully d...isassembled, acid dipped, washed, and polished. It was also converted to run on any type of fuel (camping fuel, gasoline, kerosene) through a kerosene conversion. A decal has been added to the fount to identify this lantern as a kerosene lantern. You will also receive an alcohol fill bottle as well.
This lantern's vent is red. It is porcelain enamel, NOT PAINTED and in excellent condition.
Production year marked on this lantern is October 1968 (10/68).This lantern was made by Coleman Canada in the Toronto plant.
Globe has no visible chips or cracks with the Coleman Red Pyrex Logo.
A proper water submersion test was done on this lantern. The fount holds pressure and at the completion of the testing, there were no visible leaks.
With this lantern was fully disassembled, cleaned, re-assembled, and tested, it has been returned to it's un-fired status as per Coleman's original factory specifications of a lantern leaving it's plant for the first time.
The tip cleaner and fuel knob work and are neither stiff nor sloppy.
While this lantern is clean, tested and restored, it is being sold "as is."MAKE SURE YOU LOOK OVER THE PHOTOS AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS BEFORE YOU BID. PRESUME NOTHING!
