Original Description:
You are bidding on a rare and vintage (1953-1961) Leupold WESTERNER  8X rifle scope.  The scope has a gloss finish, clean and clear glass, 1 inch tube, fine crosshair reticle and  40mm adjustable objective lens.  In addition I have the original paperwork which came with the scope as well as documentation from Leupold validating that they did a full evaluation and service on the scope in 2006  There are some light ring marks on the tube but these are barely noti...ceable and the tube has that light "purple" tint that old Leupold scopes are known for.  You see older Leupold Pioneer, Mountaineer and Alaskan scopes for sale but rarely a Westerner.  If you have a vintage target or varmint rifle and are wanting a vintage scope to complete the look this is it.  Please ask any questions.  No international sales.  Thank you
