This is a rare all original 1963 Chevy Corvette Split Window Coupe Thunderjet slot car #1356 made by Aurora from 1963 through 1972. It comes complete with a working original Thunderjet chassis. This Thunderjet era car has never been reissued. This second generation Aurora HO scale example is factory molded in turquoise. This classic Corvette is in great very lightly used condition. It is free of any cracks, warping, stains, fading, or loose / missing parts anywhere. The wheel...wells have never been cut or shaved to allow for wider tires. The only noticeable blemish is some chrome loss on the high points of both bumpers. The shiny turquoise finish is consistent throughout the body. All parts on the car are still factory secure and intact. The factory silver painted rockers is still 100% there. All roof posts are intact and arrow straight. Both screw posts are free of any cracks. Both hold a screw tightly. Also included are a working original Thunderjet pancake motor, front pin, and two screws. It will be same style but not necessarily the actual chassis in the pictures. I use the same chassis in photos for several cars I am selling for expediency sake. The original box and box inserts are not included. A rare classic roughly 55 year old slot car in this condition is a must for any Chevrolet, Corvette, HO slot car, or Aurora T-jet / Vibro fan / collector who seeks out the rarest and best available.

Insurance is required for all shipments of $100 or more. The buyer will be responsible for the actual cost of such insurance.
